What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Clerk position at Federation of Organizations?

RiseWell Community Services is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the procurement process and ensuring timely acquisition of materials and supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma. Purchasing experience.

JOB FUNCTION

Work in conjunction with the Purchasing Supervisor to process purchase orders and reconcile invoices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Review all purchase orders submitted throughout the agency to assess thenecessity, priority and ensure accuracy of purchase.
  • Ensure competitive pricing with our current vendors by acquiring bidsperiodically for all perpetual services/equipment. Reconcile Invoices topurchase orders
  • Act as a liaison for Federation with vendors.
  • Comply with the agency Compliance Plan and False Claims Policy bypreventing, detecting, and reporting any potential healthcare abuse and fraud.Report any potential non-compliance and comply with all other federal, state,and local regulations applicable to this job description.
  • Utilize all agency-based IT applications pertaining to this job description in aproficient manner.F.Remain current on changing developments in individual field of expertise.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES:

Proficient computer skills of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Excelknowledge. Familiarity preferred with: SAP ConcurExcellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, analysis,and collaboration skills.Understanding and experience with document management as itpertains to electronic document storage as well as standard filing ofaccounting records.
