We're looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic retail team!
Are you passionate about the beauty and haircare industry and eager to play a pivotal role in driving retail success? We're looking for a Marketing Assistant - Retail to become a key player in our fast-paced team! This exciting role offers a variety of tasks, where no two days are the same—from providing essential administrative support to executing impactful marketing campaigns. In this role, you'll be working closely with our retailers, creating compelling presentations, managing sample distribution, analyzing market trends, and building long-lasting relationships that help elevate our brand.
As a Marketing Assistant - Retail you will support the retail division and be responsible for administrative tasks, conducting market research, updating and creating reports, sending out samples, submitting new item information to retailers, submitting creative requests, creating presentations and fostering strong relationships with retailers.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit marketing and sales materials
- Send out Samples/Promo Kits and other sampling needs, such as Influencer sends.
- Conduct market research to identify the target audience's needs, competition, and trends to help in creating marketing strategies and plans
- Gather data on campaign performance
- Conduct market research
- Assist with in store retail events and trade shows
- Support additional marketing and administrative projects as needed
- Assist in maintaining and updating seasonal Visual Merchandising Planograms & SKU Assortment Grids and provide updates to retailers
- Day to day contact with third party fulfillment vendor for sampling & kitting initiatives
- Support retailer sampling submissions to designated program portals
- Prepare creative requests and track timelines towards targeted release date
- Organize and complete new item setup forms for new launches with retail partners
- Help maintain Product Page assets for retailer dotcoms, to ensure content is accurate and relevant
- Monitor marketing campaigns' progress and assist in preparing marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
- Organize, upload and manage media and imagery to retail partners
- Take and distribute meeting notes to internal team
Skills and Knowledge
- 2-3 years of hands-on marketing experience (preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment)
- Hybrid role in Wilton, CT HQ (2-3 days a week)
- Proven ability to manage marketing campaigns from start to finish
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
- Prior experience in the beauty industry is a huge plus!
- Experience with GoogleSuite (including Gmail, GoogleSlide & Googlesheets), and MicroSoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
