Job Summary
We are seeking an Over-the-Road Delivery Associate to join our team at FedEx Freight. As an Over-the-Road Delivery Associate, you will be responsible for transporting freight between Service Centers and customers while ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport freight between Service Centers and customers.
- Perform daily safety inspections on equipment.
- Handle and secure freight using motorized and manual equipment.
- Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Requirements:
- Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with double/triple and hazardous materials endorsements.
- At least one year of experience within the last three years or completion of the FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards.
- Meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements under Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier (FMC) regulations.
