What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at FedEx Ground?
Mike Timmler Enterprises Inc. is a Contracted Service Provider for FedEx. We are looking for full-time, responsible delivery drivers to deliver packages to residential and commercial customers.
Daily responsibilities would include:
Drivers would report to our terminal in East Syracuse
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
Loading and organizing vehicles for deliveries
Follow all federal and local laws to safely operate vehicle at all times
Accurately and efficiently deliver and pick-up packages to businesses and residences while providing exceptional customer service in a safe and timely manner.
Accurately operating the scanner. Accuracy and integrity is a must when performing deliveries and pick-ups
Must have the ability to work independently.
Some of the areas that we cover are Bridgeport, Canastota, Cazenovia, Chittenango & Minoa.

Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- One year experience as a delivery driver is perfurred but not necessary. We will train the right candidate.
- Clean Valid Drivers License, an MVR (motor vehicle report) check will be run.
- Pre-employment drug/alcohol testing (includes marijuana).
- Random drug/alcohol screening
- Selected candidates will be subject subject to background checks
- This is a non-CDL position.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
