Job Title: Delivery Driver/Operator
Job Duties:
- Drive and operate company vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Provide courteous and prompt delivery and pick-up of packages to customers.
- Verify shipments for compliance with FedEx service features and provide related customer support functions.
Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
No prior experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn and work in a team environment is essential.
KSA's (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Excellent human relations and communication skills are required.
Work Environment:
This role is not considered a safety-sensitive position. A neat appearance is expected as customer contact is routine. The ability to remain alert and work in a safe manner at all times is crucial.
Preferred Qualifications:
A valid driver's license for the type of vehicle assigned is mandatory.
Compensation and Schedule:
$20.22 per hour. Part-time schedule, Monday to Friday, with exact hours to be determined.
