With general supervision, primarily responsible for developing a proactive and strategic approach to attract high caliber talent. Partners with and advises the hiring manager to deliver a world class experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Essential Functions
- Partners with and advises the hiring manager to deliver a world class experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Develops and implements best in class recruitment practices and assists less experienced staff members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, sales, human resources or related discipline.
Minimum Experience
Four (4) years of HR or business related experience. A related Master’s Degree can be exchanged for two (2) years of experience. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficiency in strategically sourcing, pre-screening, and interviewing qualified candidates for technical, professional, and internship positions.
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple openings across various business units, i.e. sales, marketing, IT, finance, etc.
Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding employment selection and practices.
Proficiency in at least one of the following: web based recruiting tools, HRIS database and/or applicant tracking systems.
Strong oral, written communication and relationship building skills.
Skills Considered a Plus:
- Experience in recruiting top-tier talent using high-touch hiring practices
- Extensive knowledge of talent acquisition rules and regulations.
- Experience in FedEx Human Resources
- Proficiency with Talent Acquisition software tools such as MS Suite, Paradox, Textio, Workday, TalentOS, and LinkedIn.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and adapt as necessary.
- Experience leading and handling large-scale programs and critical initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in various aspects of the hiring process, such as recruitment, HR technology, immigration, compensation, or workforce planning.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate consultative, influential, and collaborative relationships across various levels of internal and external stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications: The desired locations for this position would be Memphis TN, Plano TX or Moon Township PA. However, this position may be located anywhere within the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii and US territories. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx Corporation location several times per week. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based upon business need.
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
