FEDITC is seeking a Software Architecture Engineer to work hybrid in Warren, MI. A United States Citizenship and an active SECRET DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Overview Of Position
FEDITC is seeking a Software Architecture Engineer to work hybrid in Warren, MI. A United States Citizenship and an active SECRET DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide system and software engineering and architecture development support for ground vehicle platforms.
- Support the development and sustainment of processes, tools, and techniques that advance Systems Engineering (SE) best practices.
- Develop, model, and analyze both existing and emerging vehicle architecture frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance system software architectures.
- Assist in trade studies, risk assessments, and technology evaluations in support of system architecture decisions.
- Support documentation, configuration management, and lifecycle development of system/software architecture products.
- Deliver technical services and solutions that align with program objectives, government standards, and industry best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Army or DoD ground vehicle programs.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practices.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as DoDAF, MODAF, or UAF.
- Background in Agile or DevSecOps environments.
- 5 years of experience in system/software engineering and architecture development.
- Proficiency in architecture modeling tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and systems engineering V-model.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Active SECRET clearance is required.
- Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’s Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
