Sustainability Manager Position
FEDITC - Federal IT Consulting is seeking a qualified Sustainability Manager to join our team. This role will be based at West Point Academy, NY, and will play a key part in supporting our military client.
About the Role
The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for assisting the installation in developing and implementing sustainability measures to reduce energy consumption and promote water conservation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement energy efficiency measures to reduce energy consumption.
- Promote water conservation measures across multiple energy programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for sustainability improvement.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- A four-year engineering degree (preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering) and/or a registered Professional Engineer registration with a minimum of 5 years of experience in energy management.
- An Environmental Science, business, or related degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in energy management.
- A two-year technical degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in energy management.
- No college degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience in energy management.
Certifications
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
