Overview of position:
FEDITC is seeking Unit Deployment Manager (UDM)/Readiness Reporter in San Antonio, TX area, is responsible for ensuring the 375th Cyberspace Operations Squadron (COS) is prepared for deployments and maintains a high level of readiness. This involves managing readiness reporting, coordinating deployment activities, and providing guidance to unit personnel and leadership on deployment procedures. The UDM/Readiness Reporter plays a critical role in ensuring the squadron can effectively meet its mission requirements.
Must have an Active TS/SCI Clearance and be a United States Citizenship are required to be considered for this position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- At least 2 years of experience working with military deployments and readiness reporting.
- Demonstrated experience with readiness reporting systems (DRRS, JCC2, AFFORGEN, IMR, ART).
- Familiarity with Unit Type Codes (UTCs), Unit Manning Documents (UMDs), and deployment planning processes.
- Knowledge of Joint, Air Force, and MAJCOM deployment policies and procedures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance Top Secret/ SCI
Primary Duty Requirements:
Readiness Reporting:
- Execute the 375 COS combat readiness reporting program through DRRS, JCC2, AFFORGEN, IMR, and other required reporting tools.
- Notify squadron members of reporting requirements and ensure compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to higher headquarters (Wing, NAF, MAJCOM, CJCS).
- Maintain records of readiness data.
- Rectify discrepancies between readiness reporting tools.
- Brief 375 COS leadership on unit readiness status.
Deployment Management:
- Plan, organize, and oversee all unit-level deployment activities.
- Configure and maintain functional UTCs.
- Monitor UTC/UMD authorizations and identify mismatches.
- Review deployment taskings and identify deployment requirements.
- Tailor deployment packages to meet exercise and contingency actions.
- Assist members with deployment processing.
- Coordinate personnel/equipment movement requirements.
- Manage the status of reporting in ART and/or AFFORGEN.
- Ensure the unit is prepared for wartime and peacetime mobility taskings.
- Schedule and track unit deployment training.
- Coordinate readiness training and monitor deployment eligibility.
- Document readiness status, mobility training, and personnel readiness folders.
- Oversee the establishment and maintenance of personnel readiness folders.
- Prepare deployment availability code waiver letters as needed.
- Support redeployed personnel in the Redeployment Support Process.
Analysis and Reporting:
- Establish metric and system analysis systems to assess efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Analyze the combat capability of the unit through evaluation of training, equipment, manning, and supervision.
- Identify deficiencies and direct or perform corrective actions.
- Assist/manage reporting requirements for various readiness tools.
- Submit reports reflecting the unit's ability to meet wartime mission requirements.
- Initiate studies, changes, and validation actions concerning UTC and Work Role effectiveness.
- Provide manning and material reports to functional managers.
- Evaluate and recommend deployment package make-up and support requirements.
Technical Guidance and Advisement:
- Advise the commander on the direction, management, and operation of all aspects of unit deployment capabilities.
- Interpret and apply Joint, USCYBERCOM, Air Force, MAJCOM, or Air Force Component operational/exercise planning and execution policies.
- Brief unit commanders and staff on the deployment process.
- Answer questions and recommend changes to unit deployment practices/processes.
- Advise the commander on the impact of deployment requirements and prepare statistics and shortfall letters.
- Provide information regarding the status of deployment actions, deployment dates, deployment shortfalls, and unit personnel readiness.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, management, or a related field.
Security Clearance:
- Top Secret SCI
- Must have an Active TS/SCI Clearance and be a United States Citizenship are required to be considered for this position.
