Are you a visionary architect with a passion for shaping cutting-edge cloud solutions? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Systems Architect to lead the architectural design and integration of our cloud products within our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). This is an exciting opportunity to ensure cohesive, secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environments across our organization while driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Role Overview:

As a Principal Systems Architect, you will spearhead the creation of robust cloud solutions, focusing on security, scalability, and regulatory compliance. Your leadership will be key in defining cloud architecture, optimizing resources, and aligning technology with business goals, ensuring architectural consistency across all cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:

   • Act as a technical authority and mentor for junior technical staff, setting standards for cloud solutions across the company.

   • Champion best practices and guide the development of cloud products, ensuring high-quality standards.

2. Architecture and Design:

   • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and secure cloud architectures.

   • Develop technical roadmaps and blueprints for transitioning to cloud-native, microservices/SaaS environments.

3. Security and Compliance:

   • Ensure cloud solutions meet or exceed NIST 800-53 and other relevant regulatory standards.

   • Implement and oversee security practices that safeguard data and infrastructure.

4. Scalability and Efficiency:

   • Architect solutions that are scalable and efficient, optimizing cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and business growth.

5. Governance and Collaboration:

   • Lead the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and facilitate cross-functional governance decisions.

   • Collaborate with IT, security, compliance, and business teams to align cloud solutions with organizational objectives.

6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

   • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, leading initiatives to improve cloud architecture and processes.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Extensive experience as an Enterprise Solutions Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on cloud, software development, and security.
• Expertise with AWS, Azure, and cloud-native development and associated industry related certifications.
