About the Opportunity :
FedTec is looking to hire a skilled and experienced Security Infrastructure Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Security Infrastructure Administrator, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure of our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify security risks, develop robust security solutions, and ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data.
Job Title : Security Infrastructure Administrator
Location : Reston, VA
Primary Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure components such as firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and weaknesses in the infrastructure.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Monitor security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls into infrastructure design and implementation projects.
- Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on security-related matters and best practices.
