The Opportunity:
We're seeking a Director of New Facility Start-Up and Continuous Improvement to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of new facility launches while driving operational excellence across our manufacturing network. This is your chance to shape the future of functional beverages by ensuring seamless start-ups, adherence to safety and quality standards, and fostering innovation at every step.
What You'll Do:
- Lead facility start-ups, including site planning, permitting, equipment installation, and operational readiness.
- Oversee and mentor a high-performing team, including managers in safety, quality, and engineering.
- Create and execute detailed start-up plans with clear budgets, timelines, and performance goals.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve safety.
- Standardize best practices across facilities to ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with HR to train teams for success in new and existing facilities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Engage with vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize operations.
What You'll Bring:
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 8 years of leadership experience in facility start-ups, continuous improvement, or multi-facility management within food/beverage manufacturing.
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Exceptional project management, coaching, and leadership skills.
- A results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments is a plus.
