FedWriters is building a team to provide corporate operations support services for Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), encompassing business functions that support NSWC PCD's mission and technical programs. As Facilities Engineering Technician, you will provide Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) services supporting NSWC PCD facilities management through space planning, drawing updates, and systems furniture layout design.

Work Schedule and Location:
On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm at NSWC PCD in Panama City, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain drawings for space allocations in NSWC PCD Master Space Plans using AUTOCAD®
- Prepare and modify conceptual drawings of furniture layouts
- Convert drawings to common viewable formats (PDF, JPEG)
- Maintain tracking system for NSWC PCD Master Space Plans
- Collect field data, analyze results, and prepare record drawings
- Maintain inventory tracker of furniture items and components
- Support transition to new Space Management System (ARCHIBUS)
- Utilize ARCHIBUS for facility space utilization
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, computer-aided design (CAD), or related field
- Minimum two years' experience in CAD drafting or design role, preferably in facilities management
- Demonstrated experience in facilities management principles, including space management and planning and asset management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in AUTOCAD® software
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with technical, scientific, and management personnel
