Overview
FedWriters is building a team to provide comprehensive video and broadcast production support for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. As a Senior Visual Information Designer you will develop visual information and graphic art products across multiple platforms and media types.

Work Schedule and Location:
On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop visual information products for print, digital, web, and multimedia platforms
- Create graphic art materials that effectively communicate complex information
- Support communication initiatives through visual design elements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including communication specialists, writers, and broadcasters
- Ensure visual materials meet quality standards and client requirements
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in fine arts, communications, graphic design or animation or the following work experience: Seven (7) years of related experience in developing visual information and graphic art products for various print, exhibit, web-page design, digital audio/video, and on-line media.
- Expert-level proficiency in designing and developing visual information and graphic art products.
- Demonstrated knowledge and capability of operating graphic production equipment
- Expert in the following software applications:
- Microsoft Office
- Adobe Creative Cloud Production Premium or Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and After Effects
- Requires an active Secret level security clearance.
