Join our team as a Technical Content Specialist and support the Department of Defense's Office of Corporate Communications by ensuring clear and precise communication. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to shape the Defense Intelligence Agency's (DIA) public and internal image, enhancing the strategic impact of its missions. This is a full-time position that will require the employee to work onsite at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC. Monday - Friday, normal working hours.
Responsibilities :
- Proofreading and editing communications materials, including briefing documents, reports, and multimedia content
- Ensuring all materials are free from grammatical, punctuation, and formatting errors
- Maintaining adherence to AP Style and the agency's correspondence guidelines
- Assisting in the research and development of communication products
- Collaborating closely with writers and visual information specialists to enhance the readability and effectiveness of communication materials
- Participate in customer meetings and information sessions to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met
- Managing multiple assignments simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
