Core Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary Range: $48,000.00-$52,000.00

SUMMARY
Bringing services and support directly to the heart of Causeway Center is the first localized solution of Feeding Tampa Bay. The center provides essential services, including daily hot meals through the Bistro and an on-site food pantry. In addition, community partners offer valuable services to guests, helping to bridge resource gaps for neighbors in need. This localized solution ensures vital resources are easily accessible to those in need across the county.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Bistro Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of The Bistro at Causeway Center. This person leads the on-site team at The Bistro and will coordinate with the culinary team in the BOH. The Manager handles all Bistro-related functions, including daily meal service. Additional responsibilities include data tracking, purchasing facility supplies, managing expenses, training of volunteers, POS system, updating menu boards and maintaining relationships with building stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage multiple programs and the day-to-day functions of the Bistro
- Manage and train the on-site staff.
- Serve as the main contact for any issues arising at The Bistro.
- Ensure data trackers are accurate and up-to-date, including manually inputting daily guest data.
- Monitor, maintain, and order facility supplies, and process invoices through Concur in a timely manner.
- Train and supervise volunteers, addressing any onsite issues.
- Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards.
- Responsible for facility upkeep, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
- Commit to upholding policies, principles and best practices for food safety.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- 2-4 years experience in the nonprofit world ( or any relevant field), Associate or Bachelor's degree is a plus, previous leadership experience a plus,
- Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our neighbors.
- Strong leadership skills and people management skills.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Experience working in low-income, culturally diverse, community settings, with a basic understanding of the challenges and barriers faced when individuals and families seek assistance.
- Knowledge and experience with homeless or housing insecure populations is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in high-stress environments, with preferred experience in crisis intervention, de-escalation, active listening and motivational interviewing
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects, take the initiative to improve the program, and smoothly coordinate it while maintaining a highly collaborative work style with the Operations Team.
- Proven ability to manage and document deliverables and data from various sources. Proficiency with spreadsheet skills is a must.
- Ability to work constructively with individuals (the public, and volunteers) from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds in culturally diverse work environments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom and Asana experience a plus.
- Occasional travel required among our 10-county service region.
- Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s license.
- Passage of the ServSafe Food Handler Certification is contingent for hire.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Current FTB employees must be in good standing and not subject to any active corrective actions.
