Summary :
Feeney, Inc. is seeking a gregarious self-starter, with excellent time management skills, for the position ofTerritory Manager (TM) within the Southwest market, territory includes : Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. The TM works independently, as well as, in conjunction with the Central Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and Vice President of Business Development (VPBD), to drive demand and new sales of Feeney products to dealers, contractors, builders, fabricators, and end users.
A successful TM will have a high energy level and a focused drive to achieve the financial budgets and improve the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) within the Southwest Territory. The TM is responsible for all aspects of new account acquisition, including selling over the phone, by email, and in person.Core responsibilities include various forms of prospecting, project site assessment and material takeoff, relationship development, sales cycle management, presentation delivery, trainings, negotiations, following-up on opportunities and quotes, and ultimately facilitating the RSM in executing pull-through sales of Feeney products.
Required Skills :
- Ability to travel (up to 50%)
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task, all while managing multiple customers at different stages of the sales cycle
- Basic understanding of national and regional building codes as they relate to guardrail, handrail, and other architectural products germane to our product offering
- Technologically proficient and adept
- Demonstrably proficient in basic computer skills and programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, basic data entry, and CRM software
- The ability to write lexically and grammatically correct correspondences
- Reasonably articulate written and verbal communication skills
- Prior construction and / or building material industry experience
- Independent, forward thinker and strong problem-solving ability
- Strong organizational ability and attention to detail
