What you'll do
As a Project Assistant, you'll wear many hats and fill your days with variety. It's a team environment where you'll rub shoulders with other project administrators, engineers, environmental scientists, marketers and a whole cast of amazing people. Here's a sneak peek into what you'll do at Fehr Graham:
Clerical support. Provide a wide variety of clerical functions to support the firm's client work and internal business needs.
Professional communication. Handle office communication with the highest level of professionalism and courtesy.
Quality control. Ensure quality control of documents, verifying grammatical and typographical accuracy.
Documentation. Maintain accurate documentation of project tasks.
Data management. Properly maintain data in the company's database (Deltek Vantagepoint) and electronic filing system, including new client setup, project setup, and client relationship management, or CRM, information.
Effective communication. Communicate effectively with coworkers and clients on sensitive and complex matters.
Project support. Support Project Managers and technical specialists with project and client management activities.
Confidentiality. Maintain client confidentiality of all project work.
Collaboration. Actively participate in monthly meetings and take responsibility for action items.
Training. Train new Project Assistants and Project Administrators.
Cross-department support. Assist and support other departments within the company as needed.
Other duties. Assume other responsibilities as directed.
This role is for an organized leader who brings out the best in others. Autonomy and growth go hand in hand on your journey with us. Ideally, you'll have an associate degree in Business Administration with five years of progressive relevant experience or a combination of skills, education, knowledge, ability, and experience. - Knowledge of standard office procedures, operation of office equipment, relevant software, grammar, and English composition.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software programs for the role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and effectively.
