Summary:
This position is responsible for placing single parts into a fixture to produce precision frames and components. The Welding Cell Assembler keeps pace with welding robot and checks quality to ensure products meet standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Place multiple single parts inside a welding table which is followed by robotic welding
- Complete visual check on every frame to ensure the robot is producing quality welds
- Maintain a clean work area according to 5S
- Perform light maintenance, including cleaning welding tables and changing welding tips
- Understand and maintain audit compliance as it relates to the welding cell function. This would include: IATF, ISO, and TISAX (information security).
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines established by the company. Encourage safe practices and a safety-first mindset among coworkers.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned

- Proficient working knowledge of all equipment and processes in designated area.

Education and/or Experience:
Employee must have a working knowledge of manufacturing environment. The individual will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing activities with regard to continuous improvement. Must be self-motivated and possess well-developed leadership skills.
- High School Diploma/GED
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions and required documents. Has the ability to respond and communicate complicated instruction and basic directions.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic mathematics.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
