Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in our ERP systems. This role requires proficiency in various data entry tasks, including transcribing information from documents into databases and utilizing office software effectively. The Data Entry Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data.
Responsibilities
- Enter and update data into databases with a high level of accuracy.
- Transcribe information from physical documents into computerized formats.
- Utilize pivot tables and other office tools to analyze and organize data.
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of information.
- Conduct regular audits of data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Assist in data collection efforts as needed for various projects.
- Conducts inventory cycle count and investigates inventory variances.
- Create and maintain production record logs.
- Posts and adjust inventory in ERP system.
- Responsible for reporting food safety and/or quality problems to the supervisor or quality assurance.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline data entry processes and improve efficiency.
Experience
- Proficiency in using office software, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Familiarity with databases and experience in managing data entry tasks.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
