Assistant Video Operations Manager
This is a key role in the Electrical Show Support department, assisting with the oversight of all video and networking equipment on FELD Productions. The position involves training touring crews in operations and maintenance, as well as some travel (25%) and occasional overtime.
Essential Functions:
- Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Assist with repairing and maintaining all video-related equipment and show networks.
- Setup and Teardown: Supervise and oversee the setup and teardown of all video equipment, directing local crews and Feld employees as needed.
- Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of electrical, lighting, and video equipment.
- Support Activations: Provide support to activations and in-house productions for Feld Entertainment.
- Rules and Regulations: Follow rules, regulations, compliance, safety policies, and improve efficiency and safety within the electrical department.
- Best Practices: Assist in developing department Best Practices and ensuring productions adhere to them.
- Equipment Management: Manage and maintain FELD equipment and parts inventory.
- Show Network Documentation: Create and maintain as-built show network documentation.
- In-House Events: Prepare, execute, and supervise in-house events with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Video Technical Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate events, theater, TV, event staging, tours, and festivals.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret diverse instructions.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills and ability to inspire others.
- Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes for extended periods.
- Licenses: Must hold a valid Driver's License and US Passport.
- Attitude: Maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.
- Work Ethic: Proactive work ethic and ability to work irregular hours when necessary.
