Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Category Insights Manager to join our team. In this
leadership role, you will be responsible for analyzing Kroger-specific data, uncovering actionable
insights, and guiding strategic initiatives that drive category growth. You will work closely with
both internal teams and external clients, translating complex data into clear, actionable
recommendations that resonate with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead category management and insights efforts by analyzing Kroger data and providing guidance to
the analyst team to inform strategic decisions for our clients.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights that influence marketing and sales strategies,
product development, and category growth.
• Utilize the full suite of Kroger and broader market analytical tools, including 84.51
(Market6/Stratum), JDA (Blue Yonder), IRi (Circana) and PowerBI to provide deep insights into
category performance.
• Present findings to key stakeholders, both internally and externally, with a clear and
compelling narrative that drives action.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure insights are integrated into broader business
strategies and drive results.
• Stay on top of industry trends and emerging analytics tools, continuously improving our approach
to data-driven decision-making.
Key Qualifications:
• 5 years of relevant experience in category management, insights, or analytics, preferably
within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry.
• Expertise with Kroger-specific data and tools, including 84.51 (Market6/Stratum), JDA (Blue
Yonder), IRi (Circana) and PowerBI.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets and
communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive cross-
functional collaboration.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a track record of influencing senior
leadership and external clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field. Master’s degree
preferred.
