Director, IAM Engineering - $250k+

Feldspar & Flint is a NYC metro-based Recruiting firm dedicated to identifying and providing exceptional candidates to meet the specific needs of our clients.

We are looking for a Director of IAM Engineering to lead the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, overseeing the development, implementation, and management of IAM solutions. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in development and architecture, hands-on experience with IAM platforms and exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the IAM engineering team, providing direction, mentorship, and support.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of IAM solutions to ensure secure and efficient access management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing systems and applications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to identity and access management.
• Develop and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IAM processes and technologies.
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new IAM technologies and solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on IAM best practices and emerging trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10 years of experience in development and architecture.
• 5 years of experience in IAM, with hands-on experience with IAM platforms, particularly CyberArk.
• Strong understanding of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
