We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Lead to join our team. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 8 years of experience in programming, people management, and project management. The ideal candidate will be capable of making strategic decisions with senior leadership while also serving as a player / coach to the team they hire, train, and mentor.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Develop and execute strategic plans in collaboration with senior leadership to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of projects.
- Act as a player / coach, contributing to coding and technical problem-solving while also managing team performance.
- Hire, train, and mentor new team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or roadblocks promptly.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
