Job Overview
We are seeking for someone that is ready to have fun and learn more about the jewelry industry. Minimial experience is required. For example: sizing a ring with a torch or soldering chain. WE TRAIN if minimal experience. Going from, sizing a ring, to a full build of a custom piece that includes hundreds of stones to be set. If you have little art skills, that is a bonus and you will catch on very quickly. Must be coordinated with you hands with picking up tiny items. Must have good vision for this job.
Hours: Tuesday-Friday 855am-5pm. Saturdays 9am-2pm. Keep in mind we do have a few locations, travel may be required. We provide the store car and gas. You are back at your original store location before they close.
DECEMBER- WE ALL WORK EVERY DAY. DEC 1-24TH.
Responsibilities
- Making sure the whole shop is cleaned. This includes your bench, shop floor, and all the equiptment.
- Perform repairs on damaged jewelry, ensuring quality craftsmanship throughout the process.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks to meet production goals.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Keep accurate records of materials used and completed projects.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Goldsmith or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to jewelry making.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment as necessary.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and factory operations is advantageous.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
