We are hiring a dedicated, compassionate Nurse Aides, CNAs, and Caregivers to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters

Full-time Nurse Aide / CNA position on afternoons (32 hours, every other weekend)
in a convent home environment in Enfield, CT.
1 : 45 pm - 10 : 15 pm
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays including every other weekend

Responsibilities :

Our Nurse Aide / CNA / Caregiver provides direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care. Our Nurse aides are responsible for documenting care for our sisters as required and communicating with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure quality care. This position also assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.

We believe care partners in all departments should be able to engage in quality interpersonal experiences with sisters and engage in meaningful interactions every day. We recognize that teamwork and maintaining partnerships among all departments are critical to achieving sister satisfaction and attaining a thriving living and working environment.

Education and Experience :

High school graduate or equivalent required.

Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a PLUS but not required.

Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.
