Salary :
Felix Construction is seeking Equipment Operators to work in the water / wastewater construction industry. The job involves safely operating heavy construction equipment such as loaders, rollers, gannons, reach forks and backhoes. Requires heavy construction experience. All candidates must have a great attitude. Work is new build or upgrades to existing facilities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operate various heavy construction equipment including loaders, rollers, gannons, reach forks, excavators and backhoes
- Dig and set large diameter pipe
- Perform potholing and digging safely around utilities
- Perform daily field inspection, documentation and servicing of equipment
- Follow strict job site safety requirements including having a continuous awareness of work environment and possible safety hazards
Who You Are
Work Environment and Physical Demands :
This position requires working on construction job sites in extreme temperatures. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and use hand tools associated with the construction industry. Specific vision abilities required include the ability to adjust and focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods, walk, sit, kneel, bend, reach with hands and arms, hear, and talk.
