Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant and nightclub environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences while ensuring that guests feel welcomed and valued.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using the POS system, including Aloha POS, and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests to enhance their dining experience.
- Process payments efficiently using cash handling procedures and cash registers.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely order fulfillment.
- Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Handle guest relations effectively, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
- Strong math skills for accurate billing and cash handling.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple tables efficiently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and guest satisfaction.
