QC Inspector/ Order Checker

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Inspector Order Checker to join our Freehold team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing orders meet the specified quality standards before they are processed or shipped. This role is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding the reputation of our organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect outgoing customer orders for accuracy against purchase orders, ensuring that all items shipped match specifications.
• Conduct visual inspections of products to identify any defects or discrepancies before they are processed for shipping.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing any defects found during the inspection process.
• Communicate identified issues promptly to supervisors and collaborate on corrective actions to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, noting deviations or defects found to ensure traceability and quality control.
• Verify that all outgoing orders meet company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, including labeling and packaging, before shipment.
• Collaborate with production teams to provide feedback on product quality and suggest improvements in processes where necessary.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during inspections and maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; additional education in quality management or related fields preferred.
• Previous experience as a quality control inspector or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills for identifying defects and discrepancies.
• Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment relevant to the inspection process.
• Good communication skills for documenting findings and reporting issues effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $21-$23/hour, commensurate with education and experience
