Job Description
A skilled Facilities Technician for our KFC restaurants should have a background with a specific emphasis in the restaurant industry in Gas and Electrical cooking/holding equipment, basic electrical, plumbing, and handy man tasks. The Facilities Technician will be part of Facilities Team and play an integral role in ensuring restaurant safety and asset preservation. Daily responsibilities vary depending on priority; includes repair and upkeep of property and equipment, as well as regular preventive maintenance. The facilities Technician will report to the Facilities Director and must be highly organized, passionate, motivated and be ready to swoop in and save the day whenever the need arises. This position supports the restaurant teams and works closely with the members of the individual restaurant management teams.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Perform HVAC/refrigeration preventative maintenance and repair, repair of Hot & cold side gas and electrical cooking and holding equipment, minor plumbing, electrical, and handy man etc. work
- Proactively examine restaurant for maintenance needs during restaurant visits
- Maintain accurate inventory and take proper care of all equipment and supplies
- Respond quickly to emergency situations, notifying management team and adhering to safety protocols
- Other maintenance duties as requested
- Uphold respectful relationships with employees and management team
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
- Knowledge / background experience working with restaurant equipment
- Experience in using and operating most maintenance tools and equipment
- Effective written and oral communication skills; this could include: safety procedures / laws, operating instructions, safety and procedure manuals, work orders, supervision of contractors and 3rd party servicers, etc.
- Strong practical problem solver
- Work well with minimal supervision
- Prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
- Must have a drivers license with a clean driving record
- Company maintenance vehicle and relevant tools will be provided
- Must pass background test
