What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assemble New Built Trucks: Take an active role in assembling newly built propane and refined fuel trucks, ensuring all components are installed and function properly. This includes putting together the vehicle’s systems, ensuring safety features are in place, and testing all systems to ensure everything works to specification.
- Perform High-Quality Repairs: Work with precision on propane and refined fuel vehicles, ensuring all repairs meet our high standards and are completed efficiently and safely.
- Stay Safe, Always: Follow all safety protocols, ensuring you and your team are always working in a secure environment. You’ll be part of a culture where safety comes first, with a goal of zero accidents.
- Collaborate & Learn: Work closely with experienced technicians, learning on the job and sharing knowledge to improve processes and skills. Be a resource to your colleagues and assist in diagnoses, repairs, and service bulletins.
- Maintain Excellent Customer Relationships: Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and ensuring their vehicles are in top condition.
- Quality Control: Take pride in the work you do by performing thorough inspections and having your work reviewed by senior technicians to ensure zero callbacks.
- Contribute to Process Improvement: Always be on the lookout for smarter, more efficient ways to complete tasks and improve workflows.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous mechanical experience, including hands-on work with tools, equipment, and vehicle repairs.
- Certifications: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Forklift/bobcat certification is a plus!
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights (e.g., top of tanks or vehicles).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.50 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
