Job Overview
We are seeking candidates to serve and bartend in our fast paced dining room and patio. Candidates MUST have previous serving or bartending experience. Fellini's is a community hub for food, drinks and good vibes. We are looking for mature individuals to join our team that have a passion for quality service and the restaurant industry. Candidates must be dependable. We have two positions available, one will be strictly serving, and the other is a bartending/serving position. Our team members are like family to us, and we are looking for individuals who can seamlessly transition into a position and continue to grow with us through the years.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and/or serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, dining room and patio area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent service, including taking orders, making recommendations, and upselling menu items.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and address any guest inquiries regarding food handling or safety.
- Uphold dining standards by providing attentive service in both casual and upscale settings.
- Participate in training sessions on new menu items, cocktail recipes, and customer service techniques.
Skills
- Proven experience as a server is required.
- Prior experience as a bartender is preferred.
- Some knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, and food safety practices.
- Familiarity with Toast or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for building rapport with guests.
- Basic culinary knowledge is a plus, particularly in relation to food pairings with beverages.
We are looking forward to meeting the newest member of our team. Hourly wage is $3.89 plus tips, averaging between $35-$60 an hour.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
