Position Overview :
At Fellow, as a Director of Engineering Program Management, you will be the leader of our program management organization in the US. This role coordinates a number of activities at the center of our product development process. You will grow and lead a team of hardware program managers, and drive consistent accountability of in-development and in-market programs across our product portfolio. This is a key hire as Fellow continues to expand our product line and develop new products for coffee enthusiasts around the world.

This position is required to be in the Bay Area as this is a hybrid position, 3 days in office. Availability for regular calls with team members and partners in Asia is required as well as occasional travel to these locations (once a quarter).
Responsibilities : Product Development
Grow a team of Hardware Engineering Program Managers who each lead multiple NPI projects each from concept to mass production and launch.Manage accurate reporting on program status, risks, and resource utilization. At times, make the case for realignment according to business needs and prioritiesChampion process improvement and continual training of Fellow's stage-gate NPI process across all functions in the company.Drive accountability across the company related to new product development and sustaining activities.Ensures that a consistent process is followed as each product reaches key milestones (PDP gate checklists).Set goals and objectives, create development plans and oversee the performance assessment process.Lead executive updates and represent project status and project updates across our portfolio.Process Development
Identify team and cross functional inefficiencies and drive new processes or communications to address themCollaborate with internal partners in Category Management, Industrial Design, Engineering, Sourcing & Procurement, Quality, Finance, Marketing.Serve as a liaison between the COO and various departments, ensuring fluid communication and collaboration.Coordinate and manage strategic projects within the product and operations departments, from planning to executionManage the product development budgeting and resourcing processesRequirements :
Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or other technical field, or equivalent combination of education and work experienceAt least 8 years of experience in Engineering or Technical Program Management, ideally in consumer electronics or appliances with a proven track record of successfully managing projects to completionAt least 3 years of experience leading project management professionalsInnovative and creative problem solver with meticulous attention to detail and a stickler for time managementOutstanding verbal and written communication skills, ability to filter and distill the relevant information to the right audience including executives, marketing, finance, and engineeringComfortable with change and ambiguity with the ability to quickly propose solutions given limited guidanceSkilled in simplifying the complex, communicating with technical and non-technical team members effectivelyPMP certification is a plusBenefits :

Salary : $180,000 - $200,000
