Part-time Residential Specialist

Fellowship House is currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to join our Residential Department as a Part-time Residential Specialist. In this role, you will support adults with severe and persistent mental illness in a residential setting, working flexible shifts (up to 25 hours per week) at our AHCA Level II facility in Naranja and overseeing an independent living apartment in Florida City. Our residential programs are designed to help our members achieve stability, develop life skills, and work toward their personal goals.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide supportive residential services, including medication monitoring, independent living skills coaching, and budgeting assistance.
• Conduct bi-weekly inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Engage members in social skill development and treatment discussions.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Travel between Florida City, Naranja, and South Miami as needed (a personal vehicle is required).
• Comfort working in an urban setting is essential.

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
• Experience in mental health, social work, or related field (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents and staff.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, on an as-needed basis.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in crisis situations.
