Position Mission
The FOCUS Marketing team supports the mission of FOCUS by communicating with students, parishioners, alumni, benefactors, staff, and others. The role of the Marketing Project Manager is to manage and execute marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery. This role is key in organizing resources, tracking progress, and facilitating smooth communication between internal teams, clients, and vendors, ensuring that all projects align with the goals and mission of FOCUS. The Marketing Project Manager will work across various marketing initiatives, including creative services, content development, and event support.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage Marketing Projects: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of marketing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate Resources: Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to allocate resources, set timelines, and ensure smooth project execution.
- Communication Management: Facilitate clear and consistent communication between project teams, clients, and external partners to ensure understanding of requirements and deliverables.
- Monitor Project Progress: Track project milestones, manage timelines, and ensure projects remain on schedule. Identify potential roadblocks early and take proactive steps to address them.
- Ensure Quality and Consistency: Maintain a high standard of work throughout all stages of a project, ensuring alignment with the FOCUS/SEEK brand and messaging.
- Vendor & Partner Coordination: Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, ensuring contracts are fulfilled, and work aligns with FOCUS standards.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks and issues, addressing challenges to keep projects moving forward and delivering successful outcomes.
- Post-Project Evaluation: Evaluate project performance against goals, tracking successes and identifying areas for improvement to inform future projects.
- Support Marketing Initiatives: Provide administrative and logistical support to the marketing department, assisting with ongoing projects and event coordination when necessary.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with other departments, ensuring projects are aligned with broader organizational goals and that feedback is gathered from all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
- 2 years in project management (preferred)
- Strong project management skills / ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects on schedule and on budget
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, highly proficient in building relationships
- Strong organizational skills: detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively
- Resourcefulness: ability to think creatively, adapt to challenges, and find efficient solutions with available resources to keep projects moving forward
- Passion for our mission and commitment to the organization’s values
Compensation & Benefits
For this role, we anticipate paying $60,000 - $75,000/year. (This role is also eligible for bonus pay.) This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.
