This position would be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
Responsibilities
- Ability to do plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall.
- Complete work orders and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Ability to self-direct work.
- Ability to communicate with and relate well to the elderly.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance work. Prior professional experience with commercial and/or residential property maintenance a plus.
- Ability to acquire a fingerprint clearance card from the State of AZ within the first month of employment.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to work well alone or in a team environment.
- Must be available to work varying shifts as needed.
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action and to remain calm during emergency situations.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public.
- Must be a team player.
- Hard worker.
