We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Clinical Director to join our team and provide quality improvement support and oversight to help several communities maintain regulatory compliance, excellent care outcomes, and operational efficiency. This position reports to the VP of Clinical Operations.

Essential Functions:
- Provides support during regulatory surveys in skilled nursing and assisted living communities and helps prepare them in advance including through coordination of mock surveys and guidance for action plans to facilitate compliance.
- Completes quality improvement activities including medical record audits and community rounding to evaluate care outcomes, regulatory compliance, and system integrity and efficiency. Toward this endeavor, provides individual support to the Director of Nurses, Infection Preventionists and other clinical leaders in the communities as necessary.
- Participates in the evaluation of the QAPI Programs and recommends QAPI initiatives to address priorities for improvement and guides the teams based upon QAPI principles to complete initiatives.
- Regularly monitors clinical metrics and incidents in each community and mentors about best practices and protocol to address opportunities for improvement and achieve or exceed benchmarks, CMS 5-star ratings, and participation in hospital high performing networks and ACO’s.
- Maintains knowledge of state and federal regulations, directives and guidance including for MDS completion and infection prevention and control.
- Serves as a PointClickCare (PCC) liaison and helps with coordinating a corporate platform providing guidance and assistance to each community for system utilization and metrics monitoring.
Requirements:
- Experience required as a regional RN or Director of Nursing or similar management or consultant role in the sub-acute and skilled nursing setting, and experience in assisted living is also preferred.
- BSN with NJ RN license.
- Certified in infection prevention and control and/or experience preferred.
- Must be willing to travel to our communities in the State of New Jersey and to other potential communities within the region. Reimbursement for travel provided.
- Proven track record of effectively supporting multiple skilled nursing communities in roles such as Regional Quality Improvement Nurse, Nurse Consultant, Healthcare Consultant or another comparable position.
- Demonstrates excellent and supportive leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
