Fellowship Village is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our Rehabilitation team on a per diem basis. In this role, you will organize and conduct physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation for our clients. You will lead client participation in activities designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical performance, promoting independence and overall well-being. As a key part of our team, you will help our clients reduce or correct pathology, enhancing their mobility and quality of life
\n- Client Evaluations: Evaluate clients, develop appropriate treatment goals, and implement physical therapy treatment plans while completing all necessary documentation related to the services provided.
- Therapeutic Techniques: Apply therapeutic techniques in areas such as gait, ambulation, muscle strength, coordination, endurance, mobility, posture control, sensory awareness, sitting and standing skills, balance, and orientation.
- Adaptive Devices: Design and fit adaptive devices, including orthotics and prosthetics, and train clients on their proper use.
- Collaboration: Consult with other members of the rehabilitation team to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen, tailored to each client's needs and capabilities.
- Client Instruction: Instruct clients on skills and techniques required for participation in mobility activities, and evaluate their progress, attitudes, and behavior as they relate to rehabilitation goals.
- Program Adaptation: Adapt therapy programs according to the individual needs of each client.
- Care Meetings: Attend and contribute to customer care, staffing, and other required meetings under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation and/or Office Manager.
- Documentation: Complete all clinical documentation in a timely manner to ensure that information is easily accessible in the resident’s medical chart.
- Supervision: Supervise supportive personnel in accordance with state and professional standards.
- Training Programs: Conduct training for medical, nursing, and other personnel on physical therapy techniques and objectives.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and report any necessary repairs for therapy equipment.
- Customer Service: Ensure that clients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere, which recognizes individual needs and rights.
- Mission Support: Understand and support the mission and philosophy of Fellowship Village, Inc., contributing to the goals of the Board of Trustees and administration as part of the management team.
- Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Licensed as required by the state of practice.

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: Competitive, based on experience.
Schedule:
Per diem position, with weekday and weekend coverage as needed.
