We're seeking a passionate BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join our team of experienced practitioners and specialists. - Provide comprehensive medical care and management for geriatric patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care interventions tailored to the unique needs of older adults.
- Conduct thorough geriatric assessments to evaluate physical, cognitive, functional, and other aspects of health, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans.
- Manage complex medical conditions commonly associated with aging, while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and quality of life.
- Coordinate with specialists, allied health professionals, and community resources to ensure seamless continuity of care and support services for geriatric patients.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health issues, disease management strategies, medication management, and preventive health measures, empowering them to actively participate in their healthcare journey and make informed decisions.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
- Valid medical license to practice in New Jersey.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in providing primary care to adult patients.
- Familiarity with geriatric medicine and a passion for working with older adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Handle admissions and quarterly reviews.
- Ability to comply with regulatory requirements, documentation standards, and ethical principles in healthcare delivery.
- Travel required.
- $125.00 - $150.00 per hour.
- Work Schedule: Minimal local travel with at least 1 day per week in Denville, Parsippany, and Dover.
