Electrical/Maintenance Manager
Felman Production, LLC, located near New Haven, WV, produces and supplies refined metal alloys to the steel industry. We are currently seeking to hire an Electrical/Maintenance Manager. Duties included but not limited to:
- Ensure equipment and machinery operates efficiently through proper management and hands-on supervision on the production floor.
- Oversee the preventative maintenance program, analyze equipment failures and determine countermeasures, make repairs when necessary and ensure work gets done efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Ensure company facilities, including building and grounds, are maintained, and assist other departments in upkeep.
- Directly supervise Maintenance Supervisor and eight hourly electricians; indirectly supervise 20 hourly maintenance across 1st, and 2nd shifts.
- Oversee small and large maintenance and facilities projects from beginning to end.
- Responsible for the preparation and adherence to annual department budget; make recommendations for capital improvements and monitor expenses.
- Develop partnerships with vendors and contractors, obtain quotes for projects, and negotiate pricing to ensure cost appropriateness.
- Have a good understanding and knowledge of 138k power, PLC, general electricity, etc
- Must have good troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, PLC, and pneumatics
- Maintain and oversee PM programs, reports, and safety
- The candidate will report directly to the Plant Manager and Project Manager (when applicable)
- Perform safety audits
