FEMA Corporation is looking to hire a Human Resources Generalist. This position is an exempt, full-time role reporting to the Senior Human Resources Generalist. Normal work hours will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with the flexibility to support all shifts/locations as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Support recruiting team and hiring managers to ensure successful selection and onboarding of top talent
- Plan and coordinate new employee orientation and training sessions
- Employee leave management
- Compliance reporting and regulation updates including ACA reporting, Form 5500 filings, EEO-1, minimum wage changes, etc.
- Benefit Administration – 401K, ESOP, medical/dental/vision and supplemental insurances
- Payroll Administration
- Act as backup for other HR team members
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
- At least 3 years of related HR experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to recognize sensitive situations/discussions and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Superior problem-solving abilities, solid judgment, and the ability to self-lead
- Team player, ready and willing to assist in departmental projects and emergencies
- Experience or training in Hiring, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, Compensation and Wage Structure, and Employment Law
- Desire to continue education, training, certification and career growth/advancement within the department and the company
- Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS experience), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
- Must have valid driver’s license
