We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Maternity Nurse to join our healthcare team. - Assist in labor and delivery, including suture procedures when necessary.
- Document all medical information accurately in patient records.
- Educate parents on newborn care, including feeding, bathing, and safety practices.
- Support mothers with breastfeeding techniques and address any concerns related to lactation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in critical care situations to ensure optimal outcomes for mother and baby.
- Offer guidance on toddler care for new parents transitioning from infant care.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the maternity unit.
Requirements
- Current nursing license with specialization in maternity or obstetrics preferred.
- Experience in internal medicine or nursing home settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices related to maternal mental health.
- Proficiency in medical documentation standards.
- Skills in administering dermal fillers may be beneficial but are not required.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, particularly during critical care situations.
