As a Data Analyst, you will analyze diverse datasets from internal and external sources to identify patterns and insights that drive decision-making and process improvements. Your expertise in data manipulation tools will be crucial for evaluating trends and supporting strategic initiatives.
Essential Job Functions:
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis from various sources using data manipulation tools.
- Analyze data ranging from Excel files to large data warehouse sets.
- Identify trends and patterns across datasets.
- Prepare models to assess proposal value during contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with Managed Care to evaluate the impact of proposed changes.
- Create and maintain tools to automate or improve business processes.
- Develop performance measurement metrics.
- Summarize data findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Familiar with SQL Server Reporting Services and PowerBI.
- Experience with healthcare contracts and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of value-based care models and healthcare reimbursement practices.
- Familiar with physician office workflow and medical billing (CPT, ICD-10, Modifiers).
- Strong knowledge of Transact SQL, including complex queries and stored procedures.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, including Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Array Formulas, and VBA/macros.
- Report creation and design experience.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn new skills to improve departmental efficiency.
