Progressive chiropractic practice focused on providing the community with specialty chiropractic care. Our practice is a provider of Chiropractic, Nutrition Response Testing, and Cold Laser Light Therapy. We are looking for a professional, service-oriented team player to join our very busy chiropractic practice in Wisconsin Rapids. As a part-time chiropractic assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Candidates must be able to coordinate and track a variety of details to provide a seamless patient experience.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for natural healthcare and an excellent work ethic, be a quick learner, enjoy multi-tasking and staying organized, be flexible, and understand the importance of a positive, courteous and a professional attitude in the workplace. General Summary: You will be responsible for greeting patients and handling a variety of incoming telephone calls, scheduling, and confirming appointments for patients, maintaining and & updating the appointment book, receiving payment for services, taking messages, filing, and general clerical duties.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients
- Control the flow of the office by directing patients to the appropriate areas of the clinic
- Communicate well with doctors and office staff to provide pertinent patient information
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Must exercise utmost diplomacy and tact to provide excellent customer service for patients; Practices confidentiality and privacy protocols in accordance to Clinic policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in customer service or reception, preferably in a health care environment.
Job Type: Part-time - There will be a 90 day probationary period for this position.
