Bartender, Server, Busser, Expo, Host

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender, Server, Busser, Host, and/or Expo to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our team, you will be expected to cross-train and learn most aspects of the restaurant in the FOH. Four days of paid training will be provided at the restaurant (Bartender, Server, Host). Bussers only require 1 to 2 days of paid training.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic (Bartender/Server, 18 ) and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area (Bartender), including washing glassware.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Handle cash/card transactions accurately using Honor POS.
• Stay updated on current drink trends and menu offerings to enhance guest experience.
• Greeting and seating customers.
• Packing takeout.
• Taking phone orders and reservations accurately (pick-up, delivery, hibachi)
• Opening and setting up restaurant for lunch/dinner service (Bartender/Server)
• Expert menu knowledge (after training) with the ability to explain menu items in depth.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food industry setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of Chinese/Japanese cuisine preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations is essential.
• Experience with a point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• *Busser/Host/Expo applicants do not require any previous restaurant experience*

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
