Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Your exceptional guest service skills will help create a positive dining experience while managing reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements using the Aloha POS system or similar technology.
- Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized experience.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area, including menus and waiting areas.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, fostering strong guest relations.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while taking reservations or providing information about the menu and services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food service operations or hotel environments is a plus.
- Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is advantageous.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
