At Fenimore Asset Management, we are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team of investment professionals. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the distribution and sales functions, working closely with various team members to drive business development efforts nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize CRM database systems (primarily Salesforce) to manage sales and marketing activities for new and existing investors.
- Manage electronic distribution for Sales, including contact list management, constituency targeting, and campaign updates.
- Participate in process improvements to maximize Fenimore's reach in all investor channels.
- Engage in outbound initiatives to reach new and existing investors, providing invitations and scheduling meetings on behalf of Fenimore's external sales resources.
- Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly activity reports.
- Develop and update sales collateral for third-party and prospect communication.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments through educational opportunities.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required with a minimum GPA of 3.4.
- 0-3 years' experience in sales.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- CRM/Salesforce knowledge preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows required, along with the ability to adapt to new technology as needed.
- Critical thinking and a sales and marketing mindset, accompanied by strong interpersonal skills.
