Fenix Group SPC in Minnetonka, MN is seeking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician to help us maintain our facility and production equipment.

A Day in the Life of the Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll spend your day troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electric motor, and gearbox issues that arise; performing routine maintenance of the company’s property; coordinating contractors to make repairs; monitoring catch basins, pumps, lift stations, and other related structures and equipment for storm water & flooding control; and properly disposing of hazardous waste created during the production process.
What You'll Need to be Successful at Fenix Group SPC
At a minimum, you'll need:
- To be at least 18 years of age
- To be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds
- 1-3 years of related experience doing maintenance or handy work
- Working knowledge of preventative maintenance execution
- Plumbing & HVAC knowledge & understanding

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday 6:30am-3:00pm with a one half hour unpaid lunch, plus two paid 15 minute breaks daily.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance on all mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including high-speed mixers, milling machines, compressors, and pumps.
- Replace belts, pulleys, bearings, and hydraulic seals for high-speed mixers.
- Perform copper pipeline replacements and HVAC filter changes.
- Execute basic plumbing activities and repairs.
- Perform basic electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting, repairs, or replacement of electrical circuits.
- Conduct small welding tasks as needed.
- Assist with general facility maintenance and upkeep.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company maintenance protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Class B Electrical License and/or HVAC EPA Certification preferred.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Familiarity with machine safety cutouts, testing procedures, and protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics and electrical drawings.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and equipment tracking.
