Fenner Dunlop, part of the Michelin Group, is searching for a 3rd shift Production Supervisor to support our manufacturing facility in Port Clinton, Ohio. Reporting directly to the Assistant Production Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating production workers to ensure efficient, high-quality, and safe manufacturing operations as well as monitoring production processes and making real-time adjustments to meet production targets while upholding strict safety and quality standards.

What You'll Do
Production Management
- Monitor and maintain daily production goals, communicating them to employees at the start of each shift.
- Prepare regular reports on production status, challenges, and performance metrics.
- Oversee ERP entries, ensuring accuracy and making corrections as needed.
- Coordinate shift handovers with supervisors and production management.
- Ensure equipment and tools function properly and safely, submitting maintenance work orders as required.
Team Management
- Foster a positive, collaborative team culture built on open communication, cooperation, and respect.
- Recognize and reward individual and team achievements.
- Address conflicts promptly and professionally to maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Encourage team input on process improvements, empowering employees to implement enhancements.
- Promote a solution-oriented mindset, welcoming ideas, concerns, and feedback.
Training & Performance Management
- Set clear performance objectives and expectations.
- Identify training needs, cross-training opportunities, and skill gaps.
- Maintain training records, tracking attendance, progress, and completion.
- Provide regular performance feedback, addressing issues proactively.
- Manage employee hours to minimize overtime, reviewing attendance via computer entry.
Health & Safety
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, including proper PPE usage.
- Conduct safety meetings, audits, and participate in the Safety Program.
- Report hazards, complete assigned action items, and review Task Safety Analysis with employees.
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free production floor.
- Promote a daily culture of safety, ensuring employees follow safety protocols throughout their shifts.
Quality Control & 5S
- Train employees on 5S principles, ensuring compliance through regular audits.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and personal accountability in 5S practices.
- Inspect production to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and analyze quality defects, implementing corrective measures.
Customer Service & Professionalism
- Maintain strong communication with employees and cross-functional teams to ensure timely responses and alignment with company goals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, demonstrating a proactive and supportive approach.
- Uphold professional behavior in all work settings, including customer sites and company-related travel.
- Support company policies and objectives, collaborating with management to implement key initiatives.
What You'll Need

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Business, Management, or a related field with 3-5 years of manufacturing supervision.

Other combinations of advanced degrees and/or relevant experience may be considered for equivalency.
