What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Fenner, Inc.?
Basic Scope/Purpose: (The job’s primary purpose or contribution to the department
Control and transport of raw materials and finished product from receipt to stocking locations and responsible for maintaining accurate inventory.
Principal Accountabilities: (The job’s essential or most important functions and responsibilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)
- Operate Forklift and other material handling equipment
- Transfer material between locations by loading truck, unloading truck and properly storing materials.
- Keep accurate records and perform accurate electronic transactions (inventory movement, lot tractability etc).
- Contribute to our quality system through continuous improvement and with involvement in other waste eliminating activities.
- Assist in picking, packing, and other warehouse duties as required.
- Manage warehouse cycle counts.
- Related duties as assigned.
- Maintain and promote Fenner Drives Values and Behaviors at all times.

- Learn and follow EHS policies, rules and work instructions
- Attend required EHS training
- Wear the required PPE at all times

- Report incidents, near miss, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts and other hazards in the work place. STOP WORK when imminent danger is present
- Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion and keep equipment in proper working condition.

- High school diploma or general education degree(GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Fork lift certification
- PA DOT Driver training/physical may be required
